Funny grafitti face on Mount GravattMe looking just the same as the grafitti face!

Tuesday 12th April – The Chocolate Chip Cookie

Day

I went to work.

Night

I went for a six kilometre rapid-walk around the neighbourhood, as part of my “sugar is bad” fad. I then had a chocolate chip cookie.

Wednesday 13th April – Walking

Day

I worked.

Night

I went for a walk again.

Thursday 14th April – Hai Hai Ramen

Day

I worked.

Night

I drove from work to Bronwen’s work and from there to Bronwen’s parents’ place, and then walked to Hai Hai Ramen, where we had planned to take them to dinner to say thankyou for letting us use “The Shed” on Stradbroke Island, however it didn’t take bookings and had a few groups already waiting. After a short debate we decided to stay and wait, and to our surprise, we were seated shortly after. The menu had one item—ramen—so we decided to choose the ramen. I wasn’t very impressed with mine, and the seating was very cramped, but it did feel like what I imagine an authentic Japanese place might feel like.

Friday 15th April – Work

Day

I worked at Newstead. I misread my Subway card and thought I got a free footlong, so went and bought a footlong veggie pattie for lunch, only to find out that a) I don’t get a free footlong until next time, and b) they’ve changed the veggie patties and they’re not very good anymore. Then ants tried to get in my Subway and there was a mini-cyclone and it rained a lot.

Night

I drove to Knock Off Comedy at The Powerhouse—where I met Bronwen—and then to Silas’s to pick up the lawnmower.
