Bronwen at the West End Green Flea Markets Bronwen at the Green Flea Markets

Saturday 17th April

Morning

Bronwen, Sabine, Valerie and I drove to the Green Flea Markets in West End, and spent some time there.

Afternoon

I picked up Sabine and her brother and his fiancé—who are in Australia for a couple of weeks—and staying here for a few days.

Evening

I dropped Bronwen off at her parent’s place, then drove to Maz’s, where I spent the evening.

Night

Bronwen and I walked to South Bank and watched “The Book of Eli”, which, while certainly a fast-paced action movie, didn’t really impress me as much as I’d have liked.

Sunday 18th April

Day

Bronwen mowed her lawn, I clipped her hedge. It was very hot.

Night

Bronwen and I walked to Park Road for pasta, and found Valerie and Sabine, and Sabine’s brother and his fiancé already at the place we were going to, so we ate dinner together.

11pm

Ooh, it’s raining. I should go to bed.

Monday 19th April

Day

An uneventful day was had.

Night

I drove Sabine and Valerie, and Sabine’s brother and his fiancé, up Mount Coot-Tha. It was clear, and cold. Afterwards, I drove up to Bronwen’s parent’s place, via Woolies, and Bronwen and I drove to Maz’s and went for a long walk out to UQ and back again, making it a bit of a late night.

Tuesday 20th April

Morning

So far, a normal day. I woke up on time, got to work on time, even had time to eat breakfast before work.

Night

B and I, pizza. Walk. Sleep.

Wednesday 21st April

6pm

I attended the dentist, and an unpleasant $740 later, finished attending the dentist.

Night

I dropped my flatmates off at The Exchange, and drove to Maz’s. We then drove and got Kieran from his work, bought Hungry Jack’s, ate it at KFC, then went up to Kieran’s place. Sometime later, I drove and got my flatmates again, and went to bed.

Thursday 22nd April

Morning

I really didn’t feel like going to work today. I wasn’t really sick, just not feeling like work somehow… I’m hoping I’m not getting sick.

Evening

I picked Bronwen up from work, then drove to Aldi with her, Sabine and Valerie, then on to Bronwen’s, then back home, then up to Bronwen’s parent’s place, ate dinner, and drove home.

12:30am

Argh, it’s tomorrow. My long weekend plans are in disarray. Off to bed I go.

Friday 23rd April

Evening

Bronwen and I went to Sizzler’s, and ate far, far too much. The plan was that we’d go to the pub after, but neither of us could drink—or really stand—so we went home and watched “9” instead.

Saturday 24th April

Morning

After a long sleep-in, I got up and went to the West End Markets with Bronwen, Sabine and Valerie. It rained quite a bit, though has cleared up now, in an overcast kind of way. The girls bought clothes for their trip to Nimbin, or in Bronwen’s case, impossible to dance in shoes to go dancing in, and I bought curry puffs, spring rolls and home made lemonade.

Afternoon

I drove to Supercheap to buy a new headlamp, and ended up buying two—replacing the current 60 watt ones with 100 watt ones.

Night

Bronwen and I drove to Coolum, saw “Ma Baker’s Tonic”, which Kara played in, then went back to her place until rather late, then drove up to Buderim where Bronwen’s parents were staying, and went to bed.
