Sunday 31st January – The Eighth Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art

Day

Bronwen and I drove into Southbank and went and had a look at APT8—the Eighth Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art—which I found to be much worse than the previous ones I’d seen. While there were a few cool things, most of the stuff seemed trivial, cheap, meaningless, boring and of no artistic merit.

After enjoying the really fantastic air-conditioning in the art galleries we made our way to Southbank, where we had some hot chips for lunch, then drove home as Bronwen was feeling sick.

Night

It was another awfully hot evening.
