Saturday 6th February – Rio Rhythmics Carnaval

Iced Coffee

I slept in because Bronwen had spent the night at her parents’ place so I’d stayed up late. I then drove to Maz’s place, and we went to Indooroopilly for lunch and bought lots of iced coffee because I hadn’t got much sleep.

Boundary St Carnaval Parade

I then drove to Bronwen’s parents’ place, got Bronwen, and drove down to West End, where we watched the “Boundary St Carnaval Parade & Party”. It rained quite heavily towards the end of the parade and I lost Bronwen who had my umbrella and the camera got quite wet.

Nandos & Maz’s

After the parade Bronwen and I had Nandos for dinner from West End, then rushed to the South Brisbane IGA—which annoyingly shuts at 10 for some reason—and managed to buy Maz some ice cream about a minute after they shut. We had to sneak in the already locked door when someone inside pressed the exit button.

We then drove to Maz’s, and stayed there late.
