Monday 4th April – Civil Dispute

Civil Dispute

I finally got around to what is hopefully the last stage in my minor civil debt dispute (dating back to 2013!)—lodging a request for decision by default. It has taken all day, over forty minutes on the phone (mostly on hold), one trip to the city, one trip to a courthouse, one solicitor, one justice of the peace, and one affirmed server person—and that’s just today. Apparently “the girls” should get back to me within ten days. Now I think I might have something to eat.

Night

Bronwen and I put the mower in the back of the car and drove over to Silas’s place where we swapped the mower for Silas and drove to Sing’s Asian Kitchen. However, it was incredibly busy and they said there would be a forty minute wait for food so we went to Halim’s Indian Taj instead—which turned out to be a great idea because it was delicious. After, we dropped Silas home and drove home to wash my shirt because I’d spilt curry on it.

Tuesday 5th April – Woolworths Scam

Bought another $50 of things from Woolworths, earning $20 of Woolworths dollars, and ending the Woolworths scam. Now we can go back to shopping at Coles.

My tooth began to bother me again. I have a mild hot earache and the tooth isn’t really hurting but just seems bothering. I’ve taken a Nurofen.
