Monday 26th October – Roving Conspiracy

Day

I drove to work, dropping Bronwen off at her work on the way. Work was tiring. I had Subway for lunch. The coffee machine broke.

Night

Bronwen and I drove to West End, where we went to a special West End Festival “Roving Conspiracy”, in West End’s newest park—which is still mostly rocks, but was fun.

After we got home Bronwen discovered that she hasn’t got a confirmation email from Woodford to say that they’ve received her volunteer application, and when she logs into the volunteer application site it appears as though she’s never applied. So she’s applying again, but it’s not particularly fantastic considering I applied for my role based on Bronwen also applying for the same thing as it said it ideally suited couples.

Tuesday 27th October – Nandos

Day

I worked.

Night

Bronwen and I drove to West End, where we met Maz, and walked to Beach Burrito for our traditional Tuesday Burritos. However they had run out of hard shell tacos, so we went to Nandos instead—which somehow cost a fortune.

Wednesday 28th October – Cake

Day

I worked. There was cake for Keish’s birthday.

Night

Bronwen stayed the night at her parents’ place. I was very sleepy and had an early night.

Friday 30th October – Germination: Greens Gabba Ward Volunteers and Supporters Party

Day

I worked.

Bronwen and I went to “Germination: Greens Gabba Ward Volunteers and Supporters Party”—the launch party for Jo’s local council Green’s campaign. All the food was sourced and supplied for free by the local dumpster divers.
